A deathly silence fell over the Flogit4u office this week as Karen completed the Coke/Pepsi Diet/Standard Max/Zero Taste Challenge. Following minutes of taunts, goading and challenge from Nick, Karen was persuaded to sit down to five cups of fizzy juice and correctly guess which was which. Below:   

Manolo Blahnik,  Jimmy Choo and Blumarine  are on the tip of everyone’s lips this week with the release of the hotly anticipated Sex and the City film. 

Sickeningly, the girls seem to spend the majority of the time in bars sipping Cosmopolitans with the spoils of a heavy day shopping scattered around their table. Unfortunately, the majority of us don’t have the expendable income of the girls to feed our lavish shoe and bag habits and need to find alternative means to get top designer labels for less….And I don’t mean getting Mr Big to buy them for you.  

Check out these Jimmy Choo sandals on eBay at the moment with four days to go –   Probably not the most comfortable pair of shoes for trawling around shops in, but paired with your LBD for an evening sipping Cosmos in Sushi Samba 7 they would be absolutely perfect.   

Carrie would be falling over her Blahnik’s to get her hands on this totally cute Alice McCall dress. With oversized buttons and pretty, floaty shape it’s ideal for a hot summer in the city. 

Now, this may be a controversial choice, but going by the old adage that “one good turn deserves another”, why not fork out for a little gift for your other half like this stunning Technomarine watch and reap the benefits next time you drop subtle hints about that pair of adorable heels that are just out of your price range… 

Finally, if things go well with your Mr Big then you may be hunting around for a wedding dress. Shop for your perfect designer gown – and bridesmaid dresses – at flogit4u.com. As auction experts it is part of our job to scour eBay looking for some weird and wonderful items for sale…all in the name of research! We recently collated our efforts and tried to whittle it down to just one bizarre item; a near impossible task, but great fun. 

I’m going to start with my favourite because I’m writing the blog and it deserves to be shared. Found by Andy from our dispatch department, this item is something that every potato/rock fan should have in their collection. 

Sadly, the majority of Alex’s suggestions were too controversial/illegal – but very, very funny - to mention on a family site. However, this one was just bordering on the right side of wrong and I’ve already started working on it for next Valentines Day. 

Staying with hair for a moment, Wendy – who seems to have some kind of knack for finding crazy items online – astounded us with this, erm, piece….Again, Wendy found many, many items that we can’t mention on Flogit4u, but I reckon we’ll probably get away with a link to this item that’s big, fun and makes girls scream… 

My effort was a bit lame compared to the others, but it wasn’t so much the item itself that tickled me, but the way in which the seller came to find it. Check it out here and see if it’s something that you would like…
