The Flogit4u team wouldn’t be normal football fans, nae human beings, if we didn’t hoist this amazing item above our heads at least once, shake it about, maybe even kiss it and feel the adulation of a whole nation…I really hope I’m not the only person in the office who’s done this. 

So, what can you do with an actual size model of the famous Jules Rimet trophy? 

1) Pretend Scotland have finally won the World Cup and you’ve just wrestled the trophy from the Queen before waving it in front on the screaming home fans (Scotland always beats England at Wembley in my dreams). 

2) Recreate the 1966 final in your living room (although you might as well just watch it on any number of TV shows that will be showing it over the course of the next month). 

3) Put it in your restaurant:  I’ve only see one of these in the past and it was in a small pizzeria in Aberdeen. It had pride of place in the window and my Dad convinced me that it was the actual trophy and that the chef won it for making good pizzas.

4) Take it to the park and host the most elaborate presentation ceremony ever to grace the end of a casual kick about with your mates. (I really, really want to do this).
