Dear FlogBlog Followers, Less blogs over the last month is good news for all you bargain hunters - The Flogit4u offices have been busy, busy, busy. Typing snappy, hilarious messages to our legions of followers has taken a back seat to photographing, listing and chatting to our constantly delighted customers. Also, with winter coming and Christmas around the corner it’s only going to get busier…How do we know that winter is coming:
It's certainly not the weather to be going for walks over lunch time or sitting on the step having lunch, so why not browse around Flogit4u.com instead? We're now selling even more household goods from some of the High Streets biggest names for a fraction of their usual price, with everything from The Flogit4u Newsletter is offering 25% off postage costs to all subscribers for the coming week - a fantastic deal that is exclusive to our Newsletter subscribers. What do you get from the newsletter? A link to all our special 99p auctions before anybody else, entertaining information about deals of the week and, of course, 25% off vouchers! Finally, like so much Manchester United fans around the world, we've jumped on one of the biggest bandwagons of recent years and are now Twittering away daily from the office. If the Blog AND the Newsletter isn't enough for you, search out , start following us and prepare to be entertained and indulged every time...unlike Man United fans. Love, The Flog Blogger

Happy New Year to all from the Flogit4u team - slightly belated, but since coming back from our Christmas Holidays we have been inundated with clients selling and buying goods...
Now's a great time to free up some money by selling on eBay and as many people are finding out every day, Flogit4u is the only place to come for the best money and least hassle.
Some Christmas presents, although well intended, just wont be used and will, sadly, be gathering dust on shelves and under beds over the next few months. Why not transfer them into cash now and get something that you can really use???Of course, January is also the prime time for shopping and although you won't see many "SALE" signs in the Flogit4u window you can be assured that all of our brand new items that we receive from High Street stores every day will be far, far cheaper that you will find in the shops at any time of the year.
Check out Flogit4u over the next few weeks when we will be selling more brand new items ranging from electrical equipment to homeware (with everything inbetween) at prices that the High Street cannot afford to match…Beat the recession with a shopping session!!!!

Flogit4u has been championed by the National Press once again – this time for being the preferred option for people looking to buy quality designer items for prices that are lower than on the High Street.
A Sunday Times article on beating the credit crunch by going online outlined the best places to save money on the internet. Flogit4u was named as the best site for snapping up designer bargains and for helping our customers achieve the best price for their goods.

A deathly silence fell over the Flogit4u office this week as Karen completed the Coke/Pepsi Diet/Standard Max/Zero Taste Challenge. Following minutes of taunts, goading and challenge from Nick, Karen was persuaded to sit down to five cups of fizzy juice and correctly guess which was which. Below:

The Taste Challenge was the culmination of months of dedicated research from Karen although she admitted that she was ill prepared for the “Diet” specimens. This lack of training cost Karen dear as she stumbled to defeat against her chief disbeliever and purveyor of the carbonated treats, Nick.

eBay’s continuing battle against online stores like Amazon and Kelkoo gained momentum this week with a new tool designed to pull shoppers towards the online auction giant. eBay executives are increasingly looking at ways to draw customers away from other online shopping sites – the most recent example being their push on “Buy it Now” and “fixed Price” sales. Already questions have been raised as to whether making eBay similar to these other stores will ultimately see the auction house loosing its identity and becoming yet another store bustling for prominence in an overcrowded market.
Thankfully eBay’s latest weapon in the battle does exactly what it has continued to do since its inception; develop a quirky and original tool that will keep shoppers aware of the savings that can be made by using the online auction house and giving instant comparisons with other stores. The “Browser Highlighter” released this week is a downloaded tool that creates an icon on the tool bar on Explorer or Firefox. When the icon is selected the browser window becomes an interactive price compare tool, simply click on the “Compare on eBay” link that sits alongside the search results to be directed to the correct auction page. More impressive is the options for pages that don’t have the icon such as Amazon or Kelkoo. Highlight the products name and the same “Compare on eBay” logo pops up offering links to auctions where that item is being sold.
This will be an excellent time saving device for regular eBay shoppers, but – perhaps most crucially – will serve as an instant access to eBay for non-users. The browser directs towards fixed price items and auctions giving users even more options to buy and sellers an even larger market for their goods.
